We recently published an article in the new fully open access journal Evolutionary Human Sciences.

The paper involved a collaboration in developmental psychology, cognitive psychology, and archaeology. We cover the role of mobile containers in human evolution and in child development, using Tinbergen’s Four Questions as a guide. This was a fun and quirky paper to write and I hope you find something of value in it — if the only outcome is in reminding more people about the critical importance of mobile containers as cultural innovation I will consider this project a success!
